Artifact Cover Letter (5/6/20)

A lot of love went into this video. As I was putting different clips and my audio together with it, it was so surreal. I've watched these kinds of videos for a long time, my favorite being Nerdwriter1 on YouTube. I'd be fascinated by the videos, and also intrigued as to how difficult and time consuming it must be to put together a video like there, where you have to compile a ton of video from a film, as well as overlaying your voice over it. And yes, it is quite difficult and time-consuming. I've had a blast making it though. Whenever I'd spent a huge chunk of time editing, watching the final product afterward (even if it's only as short as 10 seconds long) is always so rewarding. It's been such a rewarding process seeing all my ideas I've had for a while finally coming together. Whether those ideas be conceptual, or more about the technical aspects of the video, it's such a cool experience.
Similar to what I said in my previous cover letter, I hope that someone will be entertained when they watch this video but also inspired to go watch some movies or see movies differently after this. I hope it can show how important movies actually are, and change how they see them.
I'm really happy with how this turned out, and I'll be remembering this video for a long time.
